Baby shower for Isla doodle!

My dear friend Tara Drollinger and her Mom (my PM, pseudo mom) threw me a lovely baby shower on the 7th of August at their home.  They served brunch with egg casseroles, blueberry bread, different types of muffins, cupcakes, orange juice and coffee!  It was delicious!  Then it was on to gift opening, we had a wonderful turn out.  I was pleasantly surprised and overjoyed (even with the hurt of missing both Moms that day).  Isla was given so many clothes and books, it was amazing!  Aaron and I were so happy with the mini-library we're able to start with!  Isla was given many classic books and we plan on reading to her quite often!
I wanted to post just a couple of  pics because I forgot my camera and I had to rely on Jeanne to do the pics for me!

Daddy's First Semi-Father's Day!!

Yesterday, June 20th was Aaron's first semi-father's day!!  We didn't go all out because our baby cupcake isn't here to celebrate with us, but I did buy Aaron a "Daddy-to-be" Father's Day Card and an adorable onesie for Isla that says "I love Daddy on it", attached below is the pic of it!  It was cute because I laid it down by Aaron Sunday night on the bed and he said he couldn't wait to play with her little feet when she is laying next to him there!  He's going to be the most amazing Daddy to her, both Isla and I are lucky to have such a great man in our lives! 

I also bought my Dad a cute sign for his house that says "Grandkids Always Welcome, Parents by Appointment" and it's a rustic red color, he quickly hung it up by the back door (the main entrance to the house)!!  So, I'm very glad to see that my 2 favorite men loved their gifts!
